CustomCrypto's Learn guides exist to help beginners understand cryptocurrency and practice trading without risking real money. This page explains who writes them, where our information comes from, and how we keep them accurate.
Who Writes These Guides
Our guides are written and maintained by the CustomCrypto team at CustomApps LLC — the same team that builds the CustomCrypto app. We write for complete beginners, in plain English, and focus on concepts you can practice hands-on rather than hype or price predictions.
Our Sources
Cryptocurrency prices and market data used across the site and in the app come from CoinGecko's public API. When a guide describes how a protocol, exchange, or tax concept works, we aim to reflect widely documented information and link to reputable primary sources where it helps. Crypto moves quickly, so we revisit guides as the space evolves.
Accuracy and Updates
Each guide shows a "last updated" date, and we revise content when the facts change — for example, when a network upgrades or a figure like our App Store rating shifts. If you spot something inaccurate or out of date, we want to know: email info@customapps.us and we'll review it.
Educational, Not Financial Advice
CustomCrypto is a paper trading simulator: all trading in the app uses virtual money, and nothing on this site is financial, investment, or tax advice. Our goal is education and safe practice. Always do your own research before buying real cryptocurrency.
No Ads, No Tracking, No Sponsored Content
This website carries no ads and no third-party tracking or analytics scripts. Our guides are never sponsored — we don't accept payment to feature, rank, or recommend any exchange, coin, or product. When we mention another app in the CustomApps family, we say so plainly. The CustomCrypto app itself is free, requires no account, and keeps your data on your device.
CustomCrypto is an educational simulation and does not provide financial advice.
